Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use the Torimaru online store or buy products from Torimaru Ltd. Please read them before placing an order. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Products and availability

We take reasonable care to describe and photograph products accurately. Colours, finishes and carbon-fibre weave may appear slightly different because of screen settings, lighting and the natural characteristics of materials. Handmade, engraved and finished products may have minor variations that do not affect their quality or intended use.

All products are subject to availability. We may limit quantities or withdraw a product. If we cannot fulfil an order, we will contact you and refund any amount paid for the unavailable item.

Orders and our contract

You must provide accurate contact, delivery and payment information. After you place an order, Shopify may send an automatic acknowledgement. This does not always mean that we have accepted the order. Acceptance occurs when we confirm acceptance, begin approved custom production or dispatch the goods, whichever happens first.

We may refuse or cancel an order for a legitimate reason, including suspected fraud, an obvious pricing or description error, inability to complete a requested design, intellectual-property concerns or lack of stock. If we cancel after payment, we will refund the affected amount.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in the currency displayed on the store and include taxes where stated or required. Delivery charges and any available service options are shown at checkout. Payment is due when the order is placed unless the checkout states otherwise.

If a price or product detail is clearly incorrect, we may contact you to confirm whether you wish to continue at the correct price or cancel the order for a refund.

Custom products and design approval

For custom products, you are responsible for providing clear and accurate design instructions. We may contact you to clarify the design or request approval before production. Please check names, spelling, dimensions and artwork carefully. Once you approve a design or production begins, changes may be impossible or may involve an additional charge.

By submitting text, artwork, logos, photographs or other material, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it for the requested product. You grant Torimaru Ltd a limited licence to use that material only as needed to review, produce and fulfil your order. You remain responsible for the content you submit.

We may reject material that is unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, infringing, unsafe or otherwise unsuitable for production. You must not ask us to reproduce third-party branding, artwork or other protected material without the rights holder's permission.

Delivery

Delivery destinations, options, charges and estimates are shown at checkout and are governed by our Shipping Policy. Custom products require approval and production before dispatch. Please tell us immediately if your delivery details are wrong.

Cancellations, returns and faulty goods

Cancellation and return rights are explained in our Returns and Refunds Policy. Products made to your specifications or clearly personalised are not normally eligible for change-of-mind cancellation or return. This does not affect your rights if goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

Using this website

You may use this website only for lawful personal or business shopping purposes. You must not misuse the store, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, interfere with its operation, scrape it excessively, or use it to violate another person's rights.

Store content

The Torimaru name, logo, product photography, designs, text and other store content are owned by or licensed to Torimaru Ltd unless stated otherwise. You may not copy, sell, publish or commercially exploit them without written permission, except where the law allows.

Third-party services

Our store is hosted by Shopify and may use third-party payment, delivery and customisation services. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party websites that we do not control.

Liability

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.

If you are a consumer, we are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses arising from a consumer purchase, or for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control where we take reasonable steps to reduce the effect.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force when your order is accepted will apply to that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory protections and may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable law.
